best cloth diapers

Nowadays using cloth diapers is a growing trend. Because of global warming, most parents are actively trying to make environmental and socially responsible choices for a better environment for their kids. Therefore, using cloth diapers seems like a perfect choice. After all, cloth diapers reduce waste, save money and are still comfortable for babies. This article will help you choose the best baby cloth diapers for your little one.

Rumparooz Pocket Cloth Diaper

The Rumparooz Pocket is considered to be overall ease of use. It possesses a soft microfleece lining that covers the entire inner side of the diaper. Moreover, it also comes with two microfiber soakers that can be positioned together or used separately to achieve your desired level of absorbency. This diaper does a fantastic job of quick absorption and liquid locking. Therefore, most of the moisture is kept away from the baby. Plus, the double gusset offers backup protection from poops and smells. With only a few adjustments, you should be able to find the perfect fit for your baby.

Thirsties Duo Wrap with Stay Dry Duo Insert

The Thirsties Duo Wrap is available in two sizes. With size 1, it is for babies from 6-18 pounds and the second size will fit babies from 18-40 pounds. On top of that, both sizes of the Duo Wrap have 3 columns of snaps that let you adjust the height of the cover easily. The benefit of a Duo-sized system is the ability to fit at both ends of the weight spectrum than a normal diaper with one size option.

Furthermore, the Duo Wrap features double gussets around the legs area. It provides an additional barrier against leaks. And, because it made off gentler elastic, so it helps to reduce the risk of red marks on your baby’s legs from wearing diapers. However, the Thirsties Duo Wrap may seem a bit less secure than others because there is only a single row of snaps around the waist.

Imagine Baby Pocket Snap

The Imagine Baby Pocket Snap is one of the best performing diapers in our tests. And, it is also one of the lower-priced products of all. It has a four-layer microfiber insert that soaks up liquid and locks it away from the baby’s skin almost instantly. The soft micro-fleece fabric lines the entire diaper and does a great job of keeping the baby comfortable and dry. The Pocket Snap opening is larger than some of the competitors, making it easier to wear and prepare before each diaper change. Moreover, it is even large enough so you can use more than one if your baby needs more protection overnight. We appreciate that there is a double row of waist snaps that keep the diaper secure in place and help to reduce the pressure around the tummy area. Although this pocket diaper only has a single gusset, we still have no problems with leakages.

Sadly, the Imagine baby pocket snap can be rather bulky. However, this extra bulk could also mean extra absorbency. Without it, the diaper wouldn’t be nearly as absorbent, and we think this is a small price to pay for excellent absorbency. Also, we wish it came with a smaller insert for newborn babies. Like all pocket diapers, you will need to put in a little effort before each diaper change. We are pleasantly surprised by the Imagine Baby Pocket Snap because of its above-average performance and budget-friendly price, which makes it very tough to beat.

GroVia O.N.E.

The GroVia O.N.E. is a top-notch cloth diaper that stands out from the group for its great absorbency potential and easy to use. It is an all-in-one product with waterproof snap-in inserts that allow you to control absorbent levels. The double row of waist snaps is very easy to adjust. And the microfleece lining has the best wicking material of all. It is ideal for babies who need frequent diaper changes or for overnight uses.

The numerous layers can make it take longer to dry, even when it’s snapped apart. After several tests, we found that it only reaches its maximum absorbency after 9 to 10 cycles through washing. So, spending time to launder this diaper many times before using it will ensure the level of absorbency that GroVia O.N.E. is known for. After all, we are pleased with this absorbent, high-quality diaper.

BumGenius Freetime

This cloth diaper is a favorite among parents thanks to its simplicity. BumGenius Freetime is an all-in-one diaper that requires no snapping, stuffing or folding. It also has 2 diaper inserts on both sides that lay over the top of each other for a double layer of absorbency which can be adjusted and customized as needed. This system helps to keep the diaper in one piece. And, it also has the ability to separate the inserts for faster drying. Moreover, the top side of the polyester inserts has a lining of stay-dry fabric that keeps the baby from feeling soggy. Plus, in case you need extra absorbency, there is a handy pocket sewn into the underside of each insert.
